DISPOSICION N° 30/88
Buenos Aires, 5 de febrero de 1988
EL DIRECTOR GENERAL DEL
SERVICIO NACIONAL DE SANIDAD VEGETAL
DISPONE:
Artículo 1°: Autorízase la utilización del Bromuro de Metilo como fumigante para
la desinfestación de fruta cítrica en reemplazo del Dibromuro de etileno,
aplicado con equipos móviles o cámaras fijas en las dosis y condiciones abajo
indicadas (*).
Artículo 2°: Los interesados en habilitar cámaras para desinfestación de fruta
cítrica o equipos móviles deberán solicitar la correspondiente habilitación al
Servicio Nacional de Sanidad Vegetal, acompañando planos y un informe técnico
descriptivo del equipo de desinfestación.
Artículo 3°: Para la aprobación de la cámara o equipo móvil es menester
satisfacer las pruebas de efectividad y de seguridad que serán fiscalizadas por
el Servicio Nacional de Sanidad Vegetal a través del Departamento de
Fiscalización Fitosanitaria.
Artículo 4°: En el caso de equipos móviles se colocará un techo flexible de PVC
con tela, de espesor superior a los 150 micrones para asegurar la hermeticidad
del habitáculo, así como se sellará debidamente, piso y laterales para evitar
pérdidas del fumigante.
Artículo 5°: Se deberán verificar las posibles fugas de fumigantes, con la
lámpara detectora de haluros durante cada tratamiento.
Artículo 6°: Se prohibirá la presencia de personas ajenas a los responsables en
la cabina del camión o adyacencias del mismo durante el tratamiento.
Artículo 7°: Las tareas de selección, lavado, secado, etc., de las frutas a
tratarse con Bromuro de metilo, deberán realizarse en forma previa al
tratamiento.
Artículo 8°: Las frutas no deberán estar envueltas ni tratadas con sustancias
que dificulten la penetración del gas a la misma.
Artículo 9°: Tómese nota, comuníquese y vuelva a sus efectos al Departamento de
Fiscalización Fitosanitaria.

(*) ANEXO: DOSIS DE BROMURO DE METILO RECOMENDADA: 32 gr/m3 con temperatura del
gas superior a 26,5 °C, temp. de la pulpa de la fruta superior a 15,5 °C.
Tiempo de exposición de la fruta: 2 horas.
